At the end of an Avalon Camp students will be able to:
- Explore a connection with nature, experience a healthy lifestyle, express dreams and insights and contemplate their place in the world. (world vision)
- Work in a team, improve communication and language skills in a compassionate way and be able to deal with conflict and diversity. (social dimension)
- Apply green building, whole water and local food principles to a practical project and calculate the carbon footprint of an activity. (ecological dimension)
- Be able to make more informed, ethical choices about how to use money in a socially and environmentally responsible way. (economic dimension)
With years of experience facilitating learning groups we strive to follow these guiding principles.
For International Baccalaureate students Avalon also provides an opportunity to gain Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) points.
